Eye Contact

As a street photographer, I am an observer - an observer of people & moments. I am not part of the story until someone sees me. In each of these photos, however, one person has noticed me and my camera. And their captured eye contact changes the dynamic of the scene. Suddenly, I am a part of this captured moment, whether or not I wish to be. The same for anyone who looks at these photographs - in each case, your presence is acknowledged.
